Subarus at the 2024 LA Auto Show

Subaru's setup at the 2024 LA Auto Show was hard to miss. They had cars, SUVs, and crossovers decked out with gear like rooftop tents, bike racks, and even canoes. But what really stood out were the colors. It was great to see something other than the usual white, gray, and black that you see everywhere. Those are fine--best resale value and all--but the colors Subaru showed off were just awesome.

The Subaru Ascent came in two different setups. One was in Cosmic Blue Pearl with a Thule cargo box, total road trip vibes. The other was in Dark Mahogany Pearl with a rooftop tent that made it look like it was built for camping trips.

Then there was the Crosstrek Wilderness in Sun Blaze Pearl. It was bright, bold, and had a Thule bike rack on top. Next to it, the Forester Wilderness in Autumn Green Metallic had a canoe strapped to the roof. You could just picture it heading to some remote lake for the weekend. By the way, the Forester got a redesign for 2025, and it's looking sharper than ever.

The Impreza Hatchback in Geyser Blue was another cool one, with surfboards on top, total beach day vibes. Subaru also brought the Legacy in Crystal Black Silica, nice and simple if you're into a classic look.

The Outback showed up in two colors: Crimson Red Pearl and Geyser Blue. Both looked great, and the Wilderness edition had the perfect rugged setup with roof gear.

Even the electric Subaru Solterra was in the mix, looking sharp in Cosmic White Pearl with a cargo basket and in Harbor Mist Gray Pearl. Whether you're into EVs or not, it was cool to see how Subaru tied their outdoorsy vibe into the Solterra lineup too.

Subaru's display felt like walking into an outdoor adventure store. These cars didn't just sit there; they looked ready to head straight out into the wild.
